Fitted to a 40+year old Honda CB400N Superdream without a kick starter. On tech spec, this was the battery to buy. However, the niggle that presented itself was the absence of screw-in filler plugs. Instead, the less appealing push-in plugs were fitted. Checking and maintaining electrolyte levels is therefore made more awkward, ideally requiring the complete removal of the battery for topping up so that a pair of pliers can be used for gripping the push-in plug tabs. For that, the Yuasa battery lost a star. Although, it is felt that Honda must take some of the blame for their "pointless regulator". Pre-filled with acid is the answer to present legislation. An experienced person will know that the posted precautions are wise advice. Some gassing and acidic vapour was noted when the seals were broken.
